You speak with a lawyer, but they say you have no case. It is not a question of if Chemical Co dumped toxic waste in your drinking water, but rather if that is actually illegal. The lawyer says that it was your responsibility to protect your drinking water from people trying to dump toxic waste in it. If you did not have the money to hire people to prevent this from happening or to build a wall around it, that is not Chemical Co's fault. They were practicing their free market right to dump waste wherever they see fit. The lawyer will not take the case on these grounds.
You begin to cough up blood while leaving the law firm. Perhaps you should go get yourself checked out.
