What is it about?
Sandra Bullock plays a FBI agent who is trying to get a promotion, but noone likes her at the office. She gets assigned a case in Boston to track down who the new main drug supplier is. She meets up with Melissa McCarthy who is a police officer who arrested a local drug dealer. Bullock is forced to work with McCarthy and hilarity ensues.
You will like it if...
You like great comedies with female leads. Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect come to mind. There are a lot of big laughs in this one. The dialogue comes rapid-fire. Some jokes didn't resonate with me, but I heard others laughing. It wasn't long before I was laughing too. There is a little of something for everyone to laugh at, and you don't have to wait long before the next set of jokes comes up.
